A New Year’s Message

Mayor Courtney’s New Year’s message notes “a huge step toward healing a baffled city, community and nation”.

All please be mindful of the pandemic/COVID19. Yes, this is day (24) as your elected Mayor and excited, semi-baffled and steadfast in making CHANGE, I remain committed. We will continue to dismiss the divisive rhetoric and embrace diversity, openness, and making decisions that are in the best interest of Barstow and the surrounding communities.

“Together, we will restore financial stability, transparency and take huge steps in restoring the voice and value of each and everyone of us. We must be committed individuals seeking change and continue overcome the pandemic/COVID19 . . . a healing city, community and nation.”

Being your Mayor brings great joy and new educational challenges to my life. We will accomplish much (together), and for that we will be proud.
