This year the City of Barstow celebrated Founder’s Day to mark the 74th year of the City’s incorporation. Mayor Paul Anthony Courtney welcomed civic and community groups who have made a difference in the community as we continue to work together to build a better Barstow.
The Barstow Fire Protection District and Barstow Police Department Explorers joined the festivities with fire engine displays and a special appearance by McGruff the crime dog. “Today we have come together as a community to demonstrate the true spirit of Barstow; today we speak with one voice United in the cause of building a better Barstow.”
